64-bit Linux server on the market. The Salvor 45 is ideal for
high-traffic Internet web hosts and portals with distributed
database applications, clustering, high-volume email requirements

“The Salvor 45 is designed to make network management simple,
efficient and scalable. The new server is housed in a 5U (8.75-inch
high) rackmount enclosure. It easily manages I/O-intensive
applications with up to four 450MHz UltraSPARC CPUs, six 64-bit PCI
slots and a 1.6GB/sec dual UPA interconnect. It supports up to 4GB
of main memory, and up to eight front-accessible, hot-swappable
UltraSCSI disk drives — supporting more than 500GB of storage and
more than 7TB of external SCSI storage capacity. The Salvor 45 also
comes standard with CD-ROM drive, floppy and four front-accessible,
hot-swappable redundant power supplies.”
