“Developers of OpenOffice.org for Mac OS X are no longer
pursuing a native Aqua port of the open-source Office-compatible
suite.

“The developer group said that it has been more than 18 months
since the last engineering work on porting OpenOffice.org to Mac OS
X’s native Quartz/Aqua windowing system, and there are no plans to
do so with the upcoming Version 2.0…”
