Softpedia: Is Fedora 9 a prelude for the
next release, Fedora 10? If it is, how does it prepare the user for
F10?

Paul W. Frields: I think each Fedora release
very much exists on its own, but shows a rapid evolution of
technology as well. So in each release, you see improvements on
technologies introduced in the last release, and the introduction
of brand new ones as well. I think that’s a necessity for
continuity and stability. For instance, in this release we saw an
evolution of our Live image tools to support non-destructive,
persistent Live USB. The Live USB tool existed in the previous
release but it didn’t have the persistence capability as part of
the package…”
