Subject: GNOME FTP site has updated extra-src section
Hello guys,
To help you compiling and enjoying GNOME, we now have a
collection of some non-GNOME packages that you might need if you
want to compile GNOME such as gettext, automake and autoconf.
We will try hard to keep this section up to date so you don’t
need to waste a lot of time searching and picking up everything
yourself.
* Source Tarballs:
You can get the latest source tarballs from:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/extra-src/sources
At the moment you will find the following files there:
autoconf-2.13.tar.gz
autoconf-2.14.tar.gz
automake-1.4.tar.gz
bc-1.05a.tar.gz
gdbm-1.7.3.tar.gz
gettext-0.10.35.tar.gz
guile-1.3.tar.gz
indent-1.9.1.tar.gz
libtool-1.2d.tar.gz
libtool-1.2e.tar.gz
* SRPMS / RPMS:
Source and binary RPMS are taken from RedHat 5.2 and RedHat
Rawhide:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/extra-src/SRPMS
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/extra-src/RPMS
Have fun,
Martin
