‘Father of Free Software’ Richard Stallman To Appear Tomorrow At Key NY Technology Summit

“High-Powered Plenary Panel to be Held January 21st at Joint New
York Software Summit and East Coast Summit for Java
Technology.”

“The New York Software Industry Association (NYSIA) today
announced that Richard Stallman, founder of the GNU project, will
appear on a high-powered panel on January 21 at 3:30 pm at the
Fashion Institute of Technology during the joint New York Software
Summit and East Coast Summit for Java Technology.”

“Stallman will serve as part of a panel on “The Future of the
Software/Internet Industries in the Next 5 Years.” Moderated by @NY
Editors Tom Watson and Jason Chervokas, the afternoon session also
features three important leaders from different segments of the
software industry:

– Pat Sueltz, General Manager of IBM’s Java Software division.
– John Borthwick, Vice President, AOL.
– Gerry Cohen, President and CEO, Information Builders Inc.
(IBI).”
