“ZDNet UK broke the news, via an interview today with
Imad Sousou, head of Intel’s Open Source Technology Center. The
story quotes Sousou as saying, “Soon you will start to see OEMs
shipping netbooks with Moblin. You will see an announcement over
the next week or two.”

“After the first product ships with Moblin v2 pre-installed, the
Moblin Project plans to post the first milestone release of the
Moblin v2 stack. Sousou reportedly said, “We don’t want to call it
a release until someone actually ships a product with it,” adding,
“The final version will be available for download over the next
couple of weeks.””
