First Point Release of Git 2.5 Brings Lots of Improvements, Some New Features

Among the most interesting changes, we can mention that it is now possible to run an aliased command directly from a sub-folder when the .git item in the working tree is actually a symlink, improvements to the fast-import stream, and the ability to define options like “–pair =” with “pair=key=value” specification by improving the parsing functionality of the “rev-parse –parseopt” mode.
