“I had some extra time this weekend and started playing
around with remixing Fedora 14. My remix is hosted on SourceForge
and should work with pretty much any Eee (and laptops + desktops
too). It was an educational exorcise for me, but if it gains enough
traction maybe I’ll do more with it.

“I chose the name as a pun on Ubuntu and Fedora (it sounded
funny), avoiding their trademarks in both cases. Some of the
tweaks:

* Enabling OOo quickstart
* Moving /tmp and /var/log to RAM disk
* Setting swappiness to 10
* Adding Jupiter for power savings”
