GNOME Software 3.11.4 adds Ardour to the featured apps list, adds an –enable-dogtail configure option, adds a dependency to gsettings-desktop-schemas, introduces a test for actions, as well as some WIP UI tests. Furthermore, the team is proud to introduce the initial port of the PackageKit session interface, and some say that GNOME Software will also be available in Arch Linux, as a front-end to the pacman package manager app. In addition, this release adds some accessible names to the widgets, it will no longer send hourly notifications to users about available updates, removes the spinner for screenshot loading, lookups app folder names, displays a ‘Launch’ button for installed web apps, makes the configuration of the application folder available, and makes sure that application ratings are set correctly.
