Google Android 1.6 update available for HTC phone

“Version 1.6 contains many improvements like higher screen
resolutions then 320×480, battery monitoring & a new version of
the online-shop “Android Market.”

“Also a new “Quick Search Bar” is available for the Homescreen
& now you can do more with voice commands, like search commands
for the Google search engine.

“Currently this Android 1.6 version is only available for the
developer smartphone from HTC, the “Android Dev Phone.” Soon 1.6
will be available for the other Android smartphones from HTC.”
