‘computer-implemented inventions.’ Last week, the legal committee
of the EU Parliament paved the way for the complete restart of the
whole process, thus widening the gap greatly between it and the
Commission and the Council.

“The next steps in the EU Parliament are the easiest to predict.
On the morning of February 17, the ‘Conference of Presidents’ will
convene, with chairmen from the committees attending along with
parliamentary President Josep Borrell. In all likelihood, this
Conference will accept the motion by the coordinators of the legal
commission to file for re-consultation of the guideline by the
Commission…”
