Hitachi to release JP1 middleware for Linux this summer

Hitachi will release its JP1 middleware for Linux.

This summer Hitachi plans to release its JP1 information system
management middleware package for Linux and will price it about the
same as the Windows NT version.

A growing number of corporate information system managers are
seeing Linux as a viable operating system alternative.

Hitachi has 30% of the information system management middleware
market in Japan.
