Computer Associates International Inc. last week became the
latest relational database vendor to jump onto the Linux bandwagon.
The company released a beta of its Ingres II Linux Edition, which
will be available free to developers in December. The company is
still deciding whether to release Workgroup or Enterprise Editions
of the Ingres database, as well as its Jasmine object relational
database, on Linux.
