“…IBM’s Application Messaging Interface (AMI) has just been
adopted by the Open Applications Group as part of it own Open
Applications Group Middleware API specification.

A big part of these developments centre on XML, which IBM
will include in the next iterations of MQSeries and MQSeries
Integrator later this year
, that should enable the software to
transform a message in transit into XML allowing it to exchange
data between a multitude of applications.”

“For XML however it is an even more important progression.
…now that we are actually seeing some proof of concept XML should
go from strength to strength.”
