Randy writes:

“prosecutors start a massive investigation into illegal copying
of software, domestic and international software manufactureres
jointly filed a lawsuit against colleges and business groups which
have long been using illegally-copied software”

“Chung Kun Hwa, a Microsoft Korea lawyer, said, “We will keep
suing those faceless people for economic justice. Illegal copiers
should pay the actual price or be penalized for it”

(FYI. The amount of bootlegged software in this country is
unbelievable. Vendors will offer to load it for you, you don’t even
have to ask.

Also, I haven’t seen anything more this week on RMS’s FSF and
other Mass. based software folks’ visit to Korea.)
