“Kanotix is clearly aimed at more advanced Linux users who
already know how to partition and who will not be thrown of course
because the installer looks different or a bit basic. Somebody with
some familiarity with the Debian system, not necessarily (K)ubuntu
because it is doing almost everything for users.

Somebody who is not afraid to learn to compile their wireless
driver on Debian, track down kernel sources and create one or the
other package. On the other side, you already get your graphics set
up for you, and several more goodies right from the start.”
