“As KDE users are already aware, around 40 members of the KDE
development team gathered together at “KDE II”, and worked to
resolve some of issues pertaining to the development of a highly
component-based system for *nix that is KDE2.0.”

Due to the rapid development currently going on, no
thorough description of the technologies have been presented. This
document hopes to resolve that matter. I will go over each major
technology introduced, describe it’s justification, and comment on
it’s status.
