Korea Herald: Korea Telecom enters Linux market through venture form

“Korea Telecom is joining the Linux bandwagon as Korean
companies, one after another, enter the Linux market at a time when
the legality of Microsoft’s dominance in the operating systems
market is being challenged.”

“The state-owned telecom company said yesterday that it is
entering the Linux market through Korea Telecom Internet Solutions
(KTIS), a Linux venture firm.”

The newly established company will provide Linux-based
Internet service solutions and technical support.
