Interstar Technologies Inc. is planning to support Linux in
LightningFAX v6.5.1, scheduled for launch in September.

LightningFAX v6.5 is currently used by the U.S. House of
Representatives, Dow Jones, IBM Printing Co., the Washington Post,
Teleglobe, Sprint and MCI WorldCom. It’s a fax server software
product that currently loads onto a standard NT, AIX or Solaris
platform and, coupled with one or more fax boards, becomes a robust
fax server that can handle up to 960 lines per server, 3 million
fax messages at a time, and unlimited users.

With LightningFAX, users have the option of doing all their
faxing directly through any e-mail application, thus giving users a
solid unified messaging solution.
