Linus Hates GNOME 3 and I Don’t

“Now I actually like GNOME 3 though I’m not particularly fond of
Unity. Okay. Scratch ‘fond’. I don’t like Unity at all, mostly
because it never seems to work. It’s hard for me to love a product
if every other computer I try to run it on fails.

Does anyone on the planet actually run Unity successfully or are
we being fed a lot of screenshots and told it exists. Seriously, I
think there’s a better chance of running into Elvis at the local
Hyper Mart than finding a working Unity desktop! I’m like “apt-get
ridof unity –forever”, you know.
