has adopted Ximian, Inc.’s Mono framework.

“The article, published in The Register, positions KDE as
‘possibly the first real-world adopter of Project Mono for
application development.’

“But KDE developers say that while work involving Mono is being
undertaken by developers at Trolltech, publisher of the QT toolkit
on which KDE is largely based, and perhaps there is hacking toward
Mono bindings for KDE, the project is far from committing to or
adopting Mono…”
