Linux Kernel 3.14.11 Is Now an LTS (Long-Term Support) Release

Good news for users of the Linux 3.14 kernel, as it has been declared by Greg Kroah-Hartman as an LTS (Long-Term Support) release, which means that it will be supported with patches and improvements for several years to come. Linux kernel 3.14.11 includes updates for the ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, and x86 architectures, several new drivers for InfiniBand devices, as well as for PCI, iSCSI, and Watchdog. The XFS, NFS, ReiserFS, and UBIFS filesystems have also received improvements, along with some sound and networking fixes.
