The first release candidate for Linux 3.19 is now out, providing some early indications of what is to come in the first Linux kernel of 2015.
In his release announcement on LKML, Linus Torvalds wrote that Linux 3.19 rc1 is one of the biggest individual rc’s for Linux in recent memory, though both Linux 3.10 and 3.15 were historically bigger.
