Quirky is the brainchild of Puppy Linux founder Barry Kauler and has now been updated to version 6.1

“In a nutshell, Quirky6 is intended to be as small as possible (hence compiled from source in T2), very fast, very simple, optimised to run on Flash memory media, and very quirky,” Kauler wrote in the Quirky 6.1 release notes.
