“First, we decided to only include mature, full featured,
business accounting packages which appear to have real customers
(no version 0.11 releases need apply). It was a little hard to
determine this on some of the packages so be warned. Both
proprietary and open source packages are considered. Next, we
quickly drove off any packages that are not strictly accounting. We
did not include any “sort of” accounting packages like “billing and
tracking” or packages that just supplement accounting with
scripting or toolkits. Also left out were any personal or home
packages even though this is probably a mistake since these may be
just the ticket for very small businesses. We are open to a special
category for these in the next round.“The list was put together using only vendor information we
obtained from the Internet. No opinions are offered by us. We just
want to show you the herd. As a small business interested in
Linux-based accounting, you must decide what’s right for your
business…”

Netscape, Galeon, and Konqueror. The site may be having troubles at
their end, but as of 1740 GMT, this link was working. -ed]
