At this year’s LinuxCon North America conference, the Linux Foundation released the latest edition of the Linux Kernel Development report, providing insight into the latest kernel development. The 2016 report highlights development efforts spanning from the Linux 3.19 kernel, which was released Feb. 9, 2015, to the Linux 4.7 kernel released July 24.
