“Eazel announced that it has received $11 million in first
round funding from venture capitalist (VC) firm Accel Partners, and
installed Accel’s Bud Colligan on its board of
directors….“
“Colligan should be right at home with the Eazel staff, which
includes a group of ex-Apple engineers who are working to make
GNOME’s Linux GUI more user-friendly with a graphical file manager
called Nautilus.”
“Nautilus is slated to include a point-and-click file manager
for advanced features such as file type-recognition and display. It
also is intended to have the ability to shield uneducated new users
from the complexity of its file structure hierarchy.”
