“Ready, aim, fire. Loki and Interplay Entertainment Corp.
have announced an agreement to deliver not lead, but Descent 3 to
gamers gunning for Linux in mid Summer.
“Upon its release, Loki spokesperson Kayt Sorhaindo said that
Descent 3 will be fully optimized for Internet play with 16 players
at one time.”
“Descent 3 represents a great blend of action and
high-performance 3D graphics,” said Loki president Scott Draeker.
“This is a new kind of game for Linux, and one which our users are
sure to enjoy.”
