“Opera Software A/S – a Norwegian-based company that has emerged
as the creator of a “new” browser, Opera. Many people like this
browser because of it’s extremely fast back engine. A while ago,
Project Magic was launched as a project that would port the browser
to many more operating systems, like linux. But with news leaking
out of the company so ever seldom, I decided to conduct a small
e-mail interview with the leader of Project Magic, Håkon Wium
Lie.”

“Do you see Linux as a potentially large market?”

“Yes. Certainly, linux has captured large parts of the server
market, while we don’t see it often enough on the desktop. The
availability of a great browser might change that.”
