COMDEX/Fall ’99 on the strength of its new Linux® offerings and
its core Windows® applications.”

“The Corel® office suite for Linux won the Byte.com “Best of
Show Award COMDEX/Fall ’99” in the software category. The Byte.com
Best of Show Awards were judged on innovation, impact and the “way
cool” factor. Corel beat several tough contenders — Microsoft®
Project 2000 and OmniPage® Pro 10, produced by Caere Corp.,
were also nominated for this award. As part of its commitment to
deliver a complete Linux solution, Corel demonstrated a range of
its productivity and graphics applications currently under
development for Linux at COMDEX/Fall ’99. The Corel office suite
for Linux is in development and is scheduled to be available in
2000. Corel is also currently developing its CorelDRAW®
graphics suite for Linux.
