“dLoo today announced software that promises to bring the open
source revolution to the Windows, Macintosh, and Palm operating
systems.”

“Open source software, a free, easily modifiable software base
of over three thousand applications that is taking the technology
world by storm, currently only runs on 5% of computers. With
BlueBox developers kit, open source developers will be able to
write programs once that will run on computers everywhere.”

“dLoo is creating a world in which there is ubiquitous access to
open source software. With BlueBox, a typical user can begin
her morning using an open source spreadsheet program on a Linux
desktop, transition to the same program on her Palm on the way to
the office, and then finish the document on Mac OS X at work.

For the first time, companies will be able to offer all of their
employees access to the same set of open source programs, whether
locally off their computers, served from a central server, or off
of the Internet.”
