Implements Chinese characters based on the Unicode
standard.

“easyLinux.com announces on this first day of the Dragon Year
that it will release the Chinese version of easyLinux on May 1,
2000 in Beijing. It will be called Dragon Linux. The alpha
pre-release will be shown at the Singapore Linux Conference…in
March, and the beta version is planned to be shown at the Spring
Comdex in Chicago in April. StarOffice(tm) (by SUN Microsystems) is
included. A dedicated Chinese language website will provide online
support for Dragon Linux.”

“The Chinese implementation of easyLinux was done in close
collaboration with RON’s Datacom Ltd, a company which provides
technical services for Open Source software in China. Started in
1995, it is the first company in China offering services for Linux;
more information is available at www.rons.net.cn.”
