“Elfstone Software, LLC, announced today its official corporate
membership in Linux International. Linux International is a
non-profit association of groups, corporations and others that work
towards the promotion of, and helping direct the growth of, the
Linux operating system and the Linux community. Elfstone’s Chief
Technology Officer, David J. Lennox, will act as the company’s
voting member on the Board of Directors representing the company in
the association’s decision making process.”

“Elfstone CTO, Lennox commented that, “we are looking forward to
our participation in Linux International as we feel it is the best
voice available for the Linux community. Participating in the
association will provide us an opportunity to express our opinions
regarding the future of Linux.
” Lennox added that he will play
an active role in lobbying for the advancement of standards to aid
the community in taking Linux to the next level — “enterprise-wide
dominance.”
