prepress software, announced it will soon ship its PCShare 3.0.
Available 2Q, PCShare 3.0 will unlock the power and performance of
Unix and Linux servers for Windows’ PCs.”

“Helios PCShare 3.0 is a high-performance Windows compatible
file and print server running on Unix- and Linux-based servers with
support for Windows 95, 98 and Windows NT and Windows 2000
clients.
PCShare 3.0 is compatible with all Windows
applications and supports mounting of drives and printers via the
Windows network browser.”

“PCShare 3.0 is powerful and scalable- from one to hundreds of
nodes on simple LANs to complex internets. Server features include
SMB/CIFS, DHCP, WINS, WINS proxy, name service routing between
network cards, and printing to local PC printers as well as
printing to EtherShare queues. PCShare’s built-in DHCP/BOOTP server
allows administrators to automatically distribute TCP/IP
configuration to any Windows and Macintosh client.”
