LinuxPR: IBM Serves Up Linux on Network Stations

IBM today announced support for a new Linux-based thin
client.

“IBM will be posting on its web site…information for customers
and software vendors to implement Linux on the Network Station
Series 2200 and 2800 thin clients. In addition, IBM will provide a
forum for customers to exchange information regarding Linux on the
Network Station family.”

“The IBM Network Station Series 2200 and 2800 with Linux
complements and will expand the family of Linux-certified IBM
clients including ThinkPad, PC 300, IntelliStation and Netfinity
servers, enabling customers to standardize their business on the
open source Linux operating system.”
