New design features retro-techno theme and high-tech
engine.

“LinuxPPC Inc., producer of the most popular version of Linux
for PowerPC computers, has unveiled its new web site. Designed by
John Grantham, of MacLinux fame, and designer of Loki Entertainment
Software’s web site. Running on the Apache web server and the PHP3
system, the new site is 100% buzzword compliant, and visually
stunning. Grantham designed both the retro-Americana theme, and the
backend that drives the site’s dynamic content.”

“While optimized for the current generation of web browsers, the
site doesn’t exclude older browsers. It is compatible text-only
browsers such as Lynx, and the 3.0-series Netscape and Internet
Explorer browsers. This was achieved through careful design on
Grantham’s part, which paid off in the end: the new site should be
not only viewable, but useable, with any browser.”
