LinuxPR: MIPS Alliance Program Taps MontaVista Software

“MontaVista Software Inc., provider of Hard Hat Linux, the most
widely-used Linux distribution in embedded systems, today announced
that it is joining MIPS Technologies’, MIPS Alliance Program
(MAP).”

“MontaVista already has demonstrated its commitment to providing
embedded Linux products on MIPS-based processors,” said Brian
Knowles, vice president of marketing at MIPS Technologies. “By
joining MAP, MontaVista has access to MIPS Technologies’ reference
platform which facilitates their investment in the MIPS32 and
MIPS64 architectures.”
