“Omnis Studio, the rapid application development program from
Omnis Technology Corporation (NASDAQ BB: “OMNS”), has won more
praise as a finalist in the `Best Enterprise Software’ awards at
Comdex in Sydney, Australia this week. Coming hot on the heels of
being voted a finalist in the category of `Development
environment/tools’ at LinuxWorld Expo in California, it is clear
that Omnis is setting the pace for development tools generally, and
for the Linux environment in particular.”

Omnis Studio is a Rapid Application Development program
which allows the production and deployment of mission critical
systems to take place quickly and easily across a number of
different platforms
and via the internet using Omnis Web
Client(TM). Omnis Studio allows you to develop on Linux, Windows
95/98/NT or Macintosh and deploy to any of these without any
rewriting of the code. In addition, it supports Sybase, DB2,
Informix, Oracle, and MySQL amongst others, creating an environment
where you can “Develop anywhere, deploy anywhere, datastore
anywhere.”
