“OMNIS Technology Corporation…announced the release of OMNIS
Studio for the Linux operating system. OMNIS Studio for Linux
completed a successful Beta release at LinuxWorld in August, 1999
and is one of the first rapid application development environments
(RAD) available for the Linux platform.”

“Extending our technology to support the Linux operating system
was a logical step considering the number of businesses migrating
to Linux and we are delighted to be one of the first to market with
a RAD tool for the Linux platform ” said Gwyneth Gibbs, President
of OMNIS Software.”
