Appoints Jerald Lipscomb to Introduce New
Technologies.

“Dorst, 45, joins OMNIS from Savoir Technology Group, where he
was chief financial officer. Lipscomb, 36, joins OMNIS from The
DynaByte Corporation where he was president, with over thirteen
years experience in OMNIS applications development and IT
consulting.”

“As chief operating officer, Dorst will have responsibility for
all of the Company’s North American operations, and will direct the
February 2000 rollout of the new 2.4 version of OMNIS Software’s
Rapid Application Development tool, OMNIS Studio. The 2.3 version,
introduced in November at COMDEX, enables Linux users to maximize
the advantages of the widely-used MySQL database, and Studio
supports many other popular databases among them DB2 Universal
Database, Oracle and Informix. Omnis Studio applications written on
the Linux, Windows 95/98/NT and Mac OS platforms can be seamlessly
transported between these operating systems without rewriting the
code. OMNIS Studio is currently the only RAD which offers the
ability for developers to build applications on any of these
platforms and deploy across all Client/Server architectures.”
