“The Open CASCADE Developer Challenge for developers of Open
Source 3D modeling applications is officially underway as of August
1st at http://www.opencascade.com/.”

“Because of requests from the university and research developer
communities concerning the planning of research projects, the
Challenge deadline has been extended to April 30, 2001.”

The Challenge is an online contest that will reward the
best Open Source code developed with Open CASCADE components in six
different categories.
