“If you’d like to try your hand with the Open Source C++ 3D
modeling components that make up Open CASCADE (and maybe win a
prize for your efforts!), see http://www.opencascade.com for
details on the Open CASCADE Developer Challenge. This online
contest will reward the most outstanding Open Source code developed
with Open CASCADE.

The Challenge closes November 1st. A jury of Open Source, 3D
modeling, and CAD/CAM/CAE development personalities will award
prizes that include a week for two on a sunny island for the top
finalists, and professional IT tools, wine or French designer items
for the runners-up.

Developers can e-mail or ftp their entries in one of the
following categories: technological innovation, graphics, end-user
