“The Ottawa Canada Linux Users Group (OCLUG) is pleased
to announce The Business of Open Source Software, a conference
taking place on November 25th of 2001.

Eric S. Raymond, a prominent thinker on the subject of open
source software, author of The Cathedral and the Bazaar, and
president of the Open Source Initiative , will be OCLUG’s special
guest for the event. He will give the keynote address on the
subject of the growing role of open source in the world of
business.

Following his presentation, Mr. Raymond will join a panel
comprising IT and business leaders from the Ottawa region and
