“Sair will help develop global benchmark certification for
Linux.”

“Sair Linux and GNU Certification, the world’s leading provider
of distribution-neutral Linux and GNU professional training and
testing materials, has announced it will collaborate with the
Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), to develop the
Linux+ certification program for information technology
professionals.”

“The Linux+ program is aimed at setting a globally accepted
benchmark for Linux certification. The project will bring together
major industry vendors and customers with an interest in Linux and
other open-source software.”

“The Linux+ initiative represents the industry’s recognition of
the value of free-to-use, open-source software,” said Dr. Tobin
Maginnis, founder and president of Sair, Inc. “This collective
effort demonstrates the acceptance of shared intellectual property
as a model for software professionals.”
