“SuSE, a leading distributor of Linux, announced an agreement
with IBM to distribute, market and support selected IBM e-business
software solutions for the Linux platform. With over 50,000
installed business customers worldwide, SuSE’s agreement with IBM
encompasses 24 EMEA countries, with initial activity focused on the
German, UK, French and Scandinavian markets.”

“SuSE is working with IBM to meet the demands of its customer
base for best-of-breed software products running on the Linux
platform. Initially, SuSE will concentrate the following IBM and
Lotus technologies for the Linux platform: Lotus Notes/Domino,
MQSeries, Transaction Series, Component Broker, IBM Data Management
Software, Websphere Family, IBM Electronic Commerce Software,
VisualAge, San Francisco Framework and SecureWay.”
