“U-Online has launched the first in a series of Linux Training
Courses with the release of “An Introduction to Linux: A Workshop
Approach.”

“This Web-based course, developed by U-Online’s parent company
Mosaic Technologies Corporation, provides users with a hands-on
introduction to the Linux operating system, with emphasis on
practising essential skills for setting up and using a Linux
desktop Operating System. In all, it covers general information on
more than 50 Linux distributions.”

“The course is designed for new users as a way to familiarize
themselves with Linux, but it does assume the user already has a
distribution of Linux installed on their system. Because the course
is online, it is applicable to users of Linux for PC, Macintosh,
Alpha and others.”
