The packaging and development team at www.linuxSalute.com are proud to
present the second beta release of our Linuxsalute-Gnome Desktop
0.91b for Slackware 8.0!

We are delighted to present a preview of our version of the
Gnome desktop for the Slackware community.

Our mission is simple: to provide the Linux community with a
productive and attractive desktop environment composed entirely of
Open Source software. Over time, we hope to develop packages for a
wider range of other distributions and platforms. But we can’t do
it without the help of other developers in the Linux community. We
have added many bugfixes, enhancements as well as the latest
software for gnome such as evolution 1.0 and Galeon 1.0. Many other
important and productive applications have been included as
well.

A big thank you to all who previously beta tested our product.
Our welcome has been overwhelming so far and we can only hope to
serve the open source community more than ever before. We are also
looking to add team members. interested parties should send an
email to beta@linuxsalute.com.
