“Scriptics Corporation, the company formed by Tcl creator John
Ousterhout to develop commercial products for his free scripting
language, will next Monday release the Linux port of its flagship
TclPro development tool suite.”

“Ousterhout said that TclPro for Linux has been the second most
popular (after Windows) download from the Scriptics Web site since
beta code became available in November.”

“TclPro 1.1 pricing will start at $1,000/developer. The product
will be available from the Scriptics Web site on Monday.”
