“May I draw your attention to an article in the ‘Tech Monday’
section, dated March 27th 2006 in the Austin American Statesman. As
you can probably guess, this is a ‘special’ that is only published
on Mondays. Easy enough… and I look for it every week. Not
because I want to know what is news. I want to see what this
industry THINKS is news. Here’s the deal.

“An article on the second page of the 4 page section featured
the headline:

‘Microsoft might be its own toughest enemy As rivals
gain ground, the software titan struggles to release its latest
upgrades.’

“Cool, sounds like someone has finally realized Linux is
actually presenting a threat to the Redmond Giant…”
