Lothar Project – Automatic hardware detection need help

The purpose of the Lothar project is to make the hardware
configuration easier in Linux, by providing hardware detection and
a nice graphical interface. It actually allows ethernet and sound
cards configuration. The hardware auto-detection uses the `detect’
library.

There is a new release available and now usable and it’s now
completly independant from the Red Hat configuration files.

Anyone (programmers, testers, translators…) can contribute to
this project. Lothar is an open-source project (published under
GPL) sponsorised by MandrakeSoft, the company behind
Linux-Mandrake.
